The Deer Hunt

We headed south for the weekend to join Dave for the opening of the Archery Deer Hunt. After a 3 hour drive to Mayfield, UT (just east of Gunnison - which is just east of Nephi, i think) we headed up the mountain on a dirt road, ONE HOUR later we hit Deer Camp at an elevation of about 11,000 feet!! The kids couldn't get out of the car and get their camoflauge gear on quick enough. They had so much fun playing with their cousins - making huts, shooting BB guns, Fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and chopping down trees with their hunting knives.

You forgot to mention the white dust that covered everthing and the non-stop freezing wind! Cute pictures let's do it again, but not til next year.

I love the picture of Ty riding the sheep, it is hilarious! I don't know why you aren't holding the dear heads of the ones that you shot??? You guys aren't fooling around when hunting season comes along. It is so fun that you were all able to be up there together for a bit
